Rose Cottage is a semi-detatched holiday cottage built in stone. It is situated on a working farm next to the coast in rural Northumberland.

The nearest village is Longhoughton (10 minutes walk), which is serviced by regular buses.
The nearest town is Alnwick (10 minutes drive), situated next to the A1.
The nearest train station is Alnmouth (10 minutes drive), with regular stops.
Local taxis are available, telephone numbers can be supplied.
Parking is available adjacent to the cottage. This is a level surface, partly on gravel and partly on grass.
There is an outdoor light for night-time.
There is one entrance into the cottage. There are three steps up to it and it has a low door thresh.
Extra keys can be made available on request.
Entrance hall light switches are at the door.
The cottage is on one level. The cottage is carpeted throughout the main rooms. The hall and bathroom have Karndean and the kitchen has vinyl.
Most rooms have electric night-store heaters and there is a multi-fuel stove in the lounge.
All doors are solid. The doors vary in width from 73cm to 80cm wide.
The pantry doorway is 70cm wide.
There is a colour contrast between the floor and the skirting.
There is a mains powered fire alarm in most rooms.
In the lounge there is a three piece suite, sideboard, nesting tables and a dining room table and chairs. There is a multi-fuel stove, a television and DVD player.
Two bedrooms have standard size, twin, single beds. There is one double bedroom, again with a standard size double bed.
Included is a bath with an overhead shower, toilet, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
In the kitchen there is an electric hob and integral electric oven.
A microwave is provided along with a washer/dryer and dishwasher.
There is a pantry adjacent to the kitchen with a freestanding fridge freezer.
Evacuation procedures are available in the Fire Risk Assessment, which is in the cottage information pack.
There is a strict no smoking policy.
Dogs are welcome on request, but visitors must provide their own equipment.
