Our five farm cottages are located just minutes from gorgeous sandy beaches on the Northumberland coast.

Curlew Cottage

Sleeps 4 | Wheelchair Access

Newly built in 2021 Curlew Cottage is a calm, spacious, light cottage designed to allow wheelchair access with ease.

The cottage is detached, in a large enclosed garden overlooking the fields.

Whinney Cottage

Sleeps 4 | Wheelchair Access

Whinney Cottage was built in 2012, with the aim to provide a warm, spacious, flexible cottage for everyone to enjoy including wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility.

Howdiemont Cottage

Sleeps 4

Howdiemont Cottage is our most popular cottage. It is spacious, light and bright with patio doors opening from the south facing lounge into the garden.

Croft Cottage

Sleeps 5/6

Croft holiday cottage is a very sunny bright cottage with all the bedrooms and lounge windows south facing.

It has a generous entrance hall, from there the bedrooms and bathroom lead off in one direction and the lounge and kitchen in the other.

Rose cottage

Sleeps 5/6

Rose Cottage has a very traditional, cosy, farm cottage layout where two of the bedrooms and kitchen are set off the lounge.

It has lovely views over the fields.

At a glance:

  • Friday to Friday lets, short breaks October through to April.
  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome (2 dogs maximum).
  • 10 minutes walk to two beautiful beaches.
  • Wood-burning stove, logs provided.
  • Free WiFi.
  • Enclosed gardens with garden seating.
  • Double glazing and night store heating.
  • Smart televisions and DVD players.
  • Fully equipped kitchens which include an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and drying facilities.
  • Check in 4pm, check out 10am.
  • All cottages are non-smoking.
  • Private parking.
  • Private EV charging points at each cottage are accessible through Voltshare App/QR code/Website. Charged at 48p per unit.
  • Outdoor charging facilities for mobility scooters.

We provide:

  • All the linen and bath towels you require are provided. We do ask how many beds you need made up.
  • A bath mat, hand towel, two toilet rolls and hand soap in the bathroom.
  • Oven gloves, a tea towel, hand soap and a hand towel in the kitchen.
  • Cleaning bucket with: washing up liquid, cloths, pan scrub, bin bags, kitchen roll, antibacterial wipes, antibacterial spray and dishwasher tablets.
  • Matches, some kindling, seven firelighters and all the logs you need.
  • A welcome pack with fresh flowers, dog treats, tea, coffee and sugar sachets, a pint of milk (in a bottle!) and some locally baked chocolate Brownies.
  • A selection of games, jigsaws and local guidebooks.

Useful things to know:

  • Supermarket deliveries available in this area from Morrisons, Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco (Postcode needed is NE66 3AL).
  • A cot, high chair, portable black out blind and fire guard are available free of charge on request.
  • Suction grab rails, bed/chair risers, stationary shower chair, wheeled shower chair or emergency fire alarm aid for guests with hearing impairments all available, free of charge, on request. See our accessibility aids.
