Low Steads Farm Cottages are situated either side of a country lane, ten minutes walk from the beach.
Two semi-detached traditional stone cottages sit on one side of the road. On the other side of the road is another traditional stone cottage with a sympathetic new build, where old out-buildings once stood. These are also semi-detached with one being accessible for wheelchair users. They are situated on a working farm, surrounded by fields of stock and crops.

The nearest village is Longhoughton (10 minutes walk), which is serviced by regular buses.
The nearest town is Alnwick (10 minutes drive), situated next to the A1.
The nearest train station is Alnmouth (10 minutes drive), with regular stops.
Local taxis are available, telephone numbers can be supplied.
Parking for two cars is available adjacent to the cottage. This is a level tarmac surface.
There is an outdoor light for night-time.
There is one main entrance into the cottage. It is on the level and does have a door thresh.
Extra keys can be made available on request.
Entrance hall light switches are at the door.
There is a patio door leading out from the lounge to level stone flags, it also has a thresh.
The cottage is on one level. The cottage has ‘Karndean’ flooring throughout apart from the bedrooms which are carpeted.
All rooms have electric night-store heaters and there is a multifuel stove in the lounge.
All doors are solid. The doors vary in width from 72cm to 80cm wide.
There is a colour contrast between the floor and the skirting.
There are mains powered fire alarms in the lounge, kitchen hall and lobby.
In the lounge there are two, two-seater sofas, bookshelf, nesting tables and a dining room table and chairs.
There is a multi-fuel stove, a television and DVD player.
One bedroom has standard size, twin, single beds. There is one double bedroom, again with a standard king size bed. All beds are 65cm high.
There is drawer and hanging storage space in both bedrooms.
Bathroom / Shower-room Included in the bathroom is a bath, a shower, toilet, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
In the kitchen there is an electric hob and integral electric oven.
A microwave is provided along with integrated washer/dryer and dishwasher.
There is a large, integrated fridge freezer.
Evacuation procedures are available in the Fire Risk Assessment, which is in the cottage information pack.
The water is heated at night to be warm throughout the day, however there are hot water boost controls should they be needed.
There is a strict no smoking policy.
Dogs are welcome on request. We ask that they do not jump/sit on any of the furniture and visitors must provide their own equipment for their pets.
